The next annual BADMAC “Mid May Muster” radio control model aircraft flying event will be held on Sunday 19th May 2019 at VMAA State Field Eastern in Goon Nure, Victoria. This is a scale fun fly day where any model resembling a full-size flying machine is eligible.
This is a “Scale” fun fly day. The event is open to any model resembling a full size flying machine. Scale and stand-off-scale, helicopters included.
Pilots must be MAAA affiliated.
Radio transmitters other than 2.4Ghz must have been certified at least once.
A transmitter pound will operate under the supervision of a Club Officer.
Heavy model permits are to be presented to the Club Safety Officer of the day before flying.
Enter as many models as you wish and fly as many sorties as possible. There are no mandatory manoeuvres. You choose and just fly for fun !
We will award a number of prizes on the day.
As this is a fund raiser for our club, so a modest registration fee will apply to each model entered.
Hot and cold food and drinks will be available to purchase at reasonable prices. So bring your appetite along together with your models.
On-site camping available
MAAA members are most welcome to camp on-site at our Goon Nure flying field. We have space for caravans and tents. All that we ask is that you include a $5.00 donation per night to cover our costs. Electric power, toilets and a gas barbeque are available to you.

Spectators Welcome !
Spectators are most welcome to come and see a broad variety of model aircraft in action at our airfield in Goon Nure, just 11.5 km south of Bairnsdale on Bengworden Road. We ask that you make a gold coin donation upon entry to the event.
